Reconsidering International Awards!

The procedure of nomination and awarding of the Nobel prize has to change if it has to remain the most important award. The way WHO and Donald Trump were nominated for the Nobel Peace prize and Barack Obama received it while being the US president raises questions over the impartiality of the unnecessarily popularised award. A handful of the elite people of Norway decide the nominees and the winners of the award. It is a type of the vestiges of colonialism and white-supremacism which is not free of bias and lobbying. We should not allow Norway to be the judge of good and evil in the world. The way China is trying to control international organisations by the means of its monetary power, it is not hard to think that it will puppeteer the institutions of Nobel and Oscar awards in the near future, or is already doing it.
